何遜（480年 - 520年），字仲言，梁時東海郯人，世代僑居京口。何承天曾孫。八歲能作詩，二十歲中秀才。詩人范雲見其試策，大加稱讚。沈約說讀何遜詩，「一日三複，猶不能已」。何遜曾擔任過廬陵王蕭續的記室。約卒於天監十七年（518年）。文章與劉孝綽並稱，世稱何劉。今存詩百餘首，「夜雨滴空階，曉燈暗離室」為名句，沈德潛稱其「情辭宛轉，淺語俱深」。宋人黃伯思《東觀餘論》有收錄何遜集跋，稱為春明宋氏本。《玉台新詠》載有何遜《學青青河邊草》一首。
天監六至七年間，何遜擔任建安王蕭偉的水曹行參軍。期間，廨舍有梅花一株，何遜每天都會在樹下吟詠，成為一段佳話。他的《揚州法曹梅花盛開》為中國詩歌歷史上第一首詠梅詩，對後世詠梅傳統產生了極大影響。
