但原典中以前未有、更正产生的扩展B-I的新字，更正后，仍然无法自动更新。
比较典型的例子是地方志或专业字书中不在Unicode基本平面的汉字。
如《南海县志》、《广东通志》《古俗字略》等中更新了原典，如：
【���礌𡏒𬒔】等字，其中【���】还有数种异体写法，参见

是否制定一些规则，可以定期或不定期刷新字典查询引用原典数据，方便研究和使用。 |
