雊：《唐韻》古𠋫切《集韻》《韻會》居𠋫切，𠀤音遘。《說文》雄雉鳴也。雷始動，雉鳴而雊其頸。从隹从句，句亦聲。《書·高宗肜日》越有雊雉。《禮·月令》雉雊，雞乳。《集韻》或作㗕呴鴝。又縣名。《前漢·地理志》上谷郡雊瞀縣。《註》雊，工豆反。又《集韻》俱遇切，音句。義同。《前漢·地理志註》孟康曰：雊瞀音句無。又《類篇》吉𠋫切。雉鳴也。
