| 4 | 雍也第六: | 子謂仲弓曰：「犁牛之子騂且角，雖欲勿用，山川其舍諸？」犁，利之反。騂，息營反。舍，上聲。犁，雜文。騂，赤色。周人尚赤，牲用騂。角，角周正，中犧牲也。用，用以祭也。山川，山川之神也。言人雖不用，神必不舍也。仲弓父賤而行惡，故夫子以此譬之。言父之惡，不能廢其子之善，如仲弓之賢，自當見用於世也。然此論仲弓云爾，非與仲弓言也。范氏曰：「以瞽瞍為父而有舜，以鯀為父而有禹。古之聖賢，不係於世類，尚矣。子能改父之過，變惡以為美，則可謂孝矣。」 |
