| 5 | 示怯: | 隋末，山賊孟讓眾號十萬，屯盱眙。煬帝遣王世充保都梁山以拒之，久不與戰，乃宣言士卒亡叛，使賊中聞之。讓果大笑曰：「王世充文法吏，何能為將。吾當生縛之。」於是進攻其柵，充與戰，佯不勝。讓益輕之，乃分兵虜掠。世充知其可擊，令軍中移灶撤幕，設方陣四面而出戰，大破之，虜男女十萬餘口，讓僅以身免。 |
