原唐虞曰納言》，《周官》為內史《漢官解詁》云：「唐虞曰納言，周官為內史機事所總，號令攸發」。。　管主喉舌《尚書注》曰：「納言管主喉舌也」。。　王之喉舌見《揚雄箴》典機密應劭《漢官儀》云：「尚書，唐虞官也。漢尊此官，典機密也」。。　統庶事應劭云：「侍中主喉舌，萬機無不理，尚書統庶事，官人垂法憲」。。　萬事之本。《晉康帝起居注》：詔曰：「尚書萬事之本，朕所責成也，而廩秩儉薄，甚非治體。今雖軍國多費，不為元凱惜祿。其依令、僕、給尚書各親信五十人廩賜」。八座之任，《晉書》：蔡謨為尚書，上疏讓曰：「八座之任，非賢莫居，前後所用，資名有常。孔愉、諸葛恢並以清節令才，少著名望。臣守小郡，名輩不同，階級殊懸。今猥以輕鄙，超倫踰等，上亂聖朝魚貫之序，下違羣士準平之論，豈惟㣲臣其亡之戒，實昭聖政惟塵之累！　士之權貴《漢官解詁》云：「士之權貴不過尚書」。。　士之樞機《皇甫謐集》云：「尚書文士之樞機也」。　出入王命《傅子》曰：「尚書出入王命，喉舌之任也」。。　補我袞闕，摯虞尚書箴》曰：「山甫輔周，靡剛靡柔，補我衮闕，闡我皇猷」。八元八凱，左𫝊云：昔髙陽氏有才子八人，蒼舒、隤敳，檮戭大臨，尨降庭堅，仲容叔達，齊聖廣淵，眀允篤誠，天下之民謂之「八凱」。髙辛氏有才子八人，伯奮、仲堪、叔獻、季仲、伯虎、仲熊、叔豹、季貍，忠肅共懿，宣慈惠和，天下之民，謂之「八元」。齊職儀曰：「舜舉八元、八凱，今號八座，為元、凱、謝靈運。《晉書》曰：八座參攝百揆，古元凱之任。尚書總載五。
