61  | 注解：蔡邑也。地理志：汝南郡有新蔡、上蔡二縣，沛郡有下蔡縣。上蔡縣故蔡國，周武王弟叔度所封。度放，成王封其子胡，十八世徙新蔡。新蔡縣，蔡平矦自蔡徙此。後二世徙下蔡。下蔡縣，故州來國，為楚所滅，吳取之，至夫差遷昭矦於此。後四世矦齊，竟為楚所滅。按杜預說同。上蔡、新蔡、下蔡，漢時用以名縣，非周時有此名也。上蔡、新蔡，漢時同在汝南郡。今二縣皆屬汝寧府，相歫不遠。若下蔡則歫上蔡新蔡遠矣。昭十九年左傳云：楚子之在蔡也，郹陽封人之女奔之，生大子建。平王為蔡公時，蔡方滅，尚未遷新蔡。則郹陽當在上蔡矣。左傳又云：齊矦衛矦次于垂葭，實郹氏。則衛地非蔡地也。從邑狊聲。古闃切。十六部。《春秋傳》曰：「郹陽人女奔之。」按許當云郹陽，蔡邑也。以別於衛之郹氏。 |
