27  | 榮音與融同，楚越、齊、魯，其音皆同也。按《淮南子》云：「聖人之能，固已多矣，而所守又約，故動而必榮。愚人之知，固已少矣。其所事者多故，動而必窮，以榮與窮。叶《越絶書》曰：「種留封侯，不知令終。二賢比得種，獨不榮。以榮。與終叶古韻已如此，後世入庚字韻，葢誤以縈為榮也。魏晉儀注，冩章表别起行頭者，謂之跳出。今日擡頭相如上林賦：「郁郁菲菲，衆香發越，肸蠁布冩，馣馤馝馥。司馬彪曰：「肸，過也。芬芳之過，若蠁之布冩也」。說文「蠁，知聲蟲也」。《爾雅》：「圓貉蟲蠁」。郭璞云：「蛹蟲，廣雅土蛹也」。毛晃曰：「古蠁字作向晋。大夫羊舌肸，字叔向」。左傳：釋文：香兩切。取肸，向布冩之義。又揚雄羽獵賦：「蠁曶如神。李善曰：「蠁，曶疾也。蠁，與響同。曶，與忽同」。又甘泉賦：「薌呹肸以棍，枇則肸蠁」，葢古語也。 響之一字，古只作鄉。《漢書天文志》「鄉之應聲」是也。又作「嚮《易》，繫其受命也。如嚮」，《荀子》「應之如影」，《嚮莊子》「●然嚮然」是也。《左傳》作「向」，揚雄，《賦》作「薌」，漢●作「㗽」，又作「●」，又作「●」。凡此等類，韻書亦豈能盡載也。 |
