61  | 朱氏曰：西戎者，秦之臣子所不與共戴天之仇也。襄公承天子之命，以報君父之仇，所以能用其人，而秦人所以樂為之用也。溫其在邑，西鄙之邑也。《史記》：襄公十二年伐戎，而至岐卒。 《後漢·西羌傳》：秦襄公攻戎救周。及平王之末，戎逼諸夏，自隴山以東，及乎伊、洛，往往有戎。於是渭首有狄、獂音丸、邽、冀之戎，涇北有義渠之戎，洛川有大荔之戎，渭南有驪戎，伊、洛間有楊拒、泉皋之戎，潁首以西有蠻氏之戎。穆公得戎人由餘，遂霸西戎，開地千里。 《史記·匈奴傳》：自隴以西，有綿諸、緄戎、翟、獂之戎；岐、梁山、涇、漆之北，有義渠、大荔、烏氏、朐衍之戎。 《漢·匈奴傳》：秦襄公伐戎至岐，始列為諸侯。張氏曰：《車鄰》、《駟驖》、《小戎》諸詩，武事備矣。蓋其地與戎錯，而秦仲以來，武事最勝，故能使秦伯有天下者，是《詩》也。而使之不二世而失國者，亦是《詩》也。夫其嚴急之風，與三代之溫柔敦厚，抑何遠哉！ |
