27  | 癸巳，大燕集英殿，午漏，上以雨甚，罷之。乙未，詔司天監制百刻水秤以測候晝夜。丁酉，祠部貟外郎、集賢校理李照為刑部貟外郎，賜三品服，入內供奉官、勾當御藥院鄧保信為理賔副使，以造新樂成也，自餘修製官屬諸工，凡七百餘人，悉遷補有差。初，照謂舊樂聲髙，乃以太府尺為法，實比古一尺二寸有竒，照獨任所見，更造新噐。所定黃鐘律，人聲極下，樂工龡其韻中，無射倍聲，又鑱破舊鐘磬，欲一用新器，上時愽求知音者，聼照所言，音官、樂工，雖知其不可，而不敢非之，又因入內都都知閻文應推言其功，故特改官，起五月造，止八月，成金石七縣，而照自造新樂笙、竽、琴、瑟、笛、篳篥等十二種，皆不可施用，詔但存大笙、大竽二種而已。照謂：「今《篳篥》，乃《豳詩》所謂葦管也，《詩》云：一之日觱發，二之日栗烈。且今篳篥首，伶人謂之葦子，其名出此」。於是製大管篳篥為雅樂，議者嗤之。 賜虞部貟外郎李思恭帛五十疋、米五十斛。思恭持母䘮邢州，而廬墓三年，州上其狀，故賜之。 工部郎中、天章閣待制劉隨卒，擢待制未旬日也。隨與孔道輔、曹修古同時為言事官，皆以清直聞，臨事明鋭敢行，蜀人以為「水晶燈籠」。始使契丹還，㑹貶而官收所得馬十五乗，及是，帝憐其貧，賜其家錢六十萬。 |
