杜注:「冰,韇丸。或云:韇丸,箭筒。」《方言》曰:「弓藏謂之鞬,或謂之韇丸。」《後漢書南匈奴傳》曰:「今齎雜繒五百匹,弓鞬韇丸一,矢四發,遣遺單于。」《廣雅》作「皾」。此傍借韇丸以明韇字之訓,非《經》之正義,刪之可也。至如《士冠禮》「贊者洗於房中側酌醴」《注》:「贊酌者,賓尊,不入房。」光坡節此二句,則賓不自酌而用贊者,義遂不明,為刪所不應刪矣。又《注》載古文、今文,最關《經》義。如《士喪禮》「設決麗於」《注》引古文「」作「捥」。考《管子弟子職》:「飯必捧,羹不以手。」《呂覽本味篇》:「述蕩之。」高誘注曰:「,古手捥之字也。」據此,則以古文之捥証今文之,義更明晰。而光坡概節之,亦為太簡。其旁採諸家之言,尤時有未審,如《公食大夫禮》曰:「飲酒、漿飲,俟於東房。」《注》:「飲酒先言飲,明非獻酬之酒也。」又曰:「宰夫右執觶,左執豐,進設於豆東。」《注》:「食有酒者,優賓也。」光坡引楊孚之說曰「上『飲酒、漿飲、俟於東房』《疏》云:酒漿皆以酳口。此『進設於豆東』《疏》又云:漿以酳口,不用酒,主人猶設之。是以優賓兩說,抵牾不同。下文:『祭飲酒於上豆之間,魚臘醬湆不祭。』夫魚臘醬湆不祭,而祭飲酒,則知酒以優賓,但賓不舉耳,豈酳口之物哉?當以優賓之義為正」云云。今考賈前《疏》云:「酒漿皆以酳口。」謂二飲本並設以待賓用也。後《疏》云:「漿以酳口,不用酒。」謂二飲雖並設,其實賓止用漿耳。前後一義相承,並無抵牾。
