《卷下》
2  | 其王脩浮圖教，殿而事之。佛像謂之乃納兒，以銅為之，殿覆以瓦，以銅為之。鑿井於傍，凡晨起，王汲以浴佛，是敬象牛。王每晨浴佛，禮拜訖，取黃牛淨糞，盛以銅盆，水調以塗壁地。頭目富家亦如之。又煅成白灰，盛以布囊，水調以額股，是為敬佛。傳云，昔有神人，其名某些，適他國時，命弟撤沒𠼝以攝。撤没𠼝鑄金牛，矯誣國人曰：「此天神也。」國人遂皆敬禮。某些還，銷金牛。撤沒𠼝乘象遁去。國人思之，而冀其歸，每月言月中必至。及月中又言月盡必至，逮今未絶也。南毘人之敬象牛由此。 |
| 3 | 其食造以酥蜜。其民以石為屋，石之名曰羅股。以磚覆之，高五丈而三層。有浴室，有灑壚，有綵帛典籍之肆。其交易以金錢，以紅銅錢。金曰哺𠼝，銅曰甫嚕斯。其利玉石。其穀宜五種，其畜宜牛、羊、雞、犬。金重官秤一錢，底面有紋。 |
