15  | 唐奘法師行傳云婆羅痆斯國內有列士池池西有二獸塔是如來修菩薩行時焼身之處㫺劫初時於此林野有狐兔猿異𩔖相恱時天帝釋欲驗修菩薩行者降靈應化為一老夫謂三獸曰二三子善安隱乎無驚懼耶曰涉豐草遊戲茂林異𩔖同歡旣安且樂老夫曰聞二三子情厚意宻㤀其老弊故此逺尋今正飢乏何以饋食曰幸少畱此我躬馳訪於是同心求覓狐沿水濱銜一鮮鯉猿於林樹採果俱來至止唯兔空還老夫謂曰以吾觀之爾曹未和猿狐同志各能役心唯兔空返獨無相饋以此而言誠可知也兔聞譏議謂猿狐曰多聚藮蘇方有所作猿狐競馳銜草曵木旣已蘊崇猛燄將熾兔曰仁者我身卑劣所求難遂敢以微躬充此一餐辭畢入火尋卽致死是時老夫復帝釋身餘燼收骸傷歎良久謂狐𫞤曰一何至此吾感其心不冺其迹寄之月輪傳乎後世故彼咸言月中之兔自斯而有後人於此建塔也《法苑珠林》卷第八十一 |
