2  | 昔之君子，欲行仁義於天下，則與時競馳，不𠫤盈尺之璧，而珍分寸之陰。故大禹之趨時，掛冠而不顧；南榮之訪道，踵趼而不休；仲尼恓恓，突不睱黔；墨翟遑遑，席不及煖。皆行其德義，拯世危溺，立功垂楷，延芳百世。今人進不知退臭腐榮華，剗絕嗜慾，被麗絃歌，取媚泉石。退不能披策樹勳，毗贊明時，空蝗梁黍，枉沒歲華。無聞之人，歿成一棺之土，亦何殊草木自生自死者哉！歲之秋也，涼風鳴條，清露變葉，則寒蟬抱樹而長叫，吟烈悲酸，瑟于落日之際，何也？哀其時命，迫于嚴霜而寄悲於菀柳。今日血西峰，道業未就，鬱聲於窮岫之陰，無聞於休明之世。已矣夫！亦奚能不霑𥘞於將來，染意於松煙者哉！ |
