9  | 春畹的名字無改，卻聽了多少閒話。我誠不解大娘、三娘是何意見？」喜兒道：「既不得那樣，又不肯這樣，不如出了家好。」春畹道：「這副面孔亦不象個出家人。哭本傷心，人必說『聲如鶯，淚如珠，引人魂』了。笑本無意，人必說『惑陽城，迷下蔡，動人情』了。分明有志節，亦說到無志節為止。況心非木石，豈真寂然不動？正恐蓮性雖胎而荷絲難斷也。」喜兒道：「你既無妄想，在姑爺身上，為何又費那一番心機？」春畹道：「既受主人之命，若不用心，便是辜負了主人。萬一受他責辱，不但自己無顏，就是本主人亦不好看。」喜兒笑道：「你居心也似二娘，行事也似二娘，將來品級安知亦不似二娘？光棍不怕出身低，按級皗轉，又安知不作到大娘？那期間，好歹不要忘卻舊日同寅。」春畹道：「行說好話，又瘋上來。」兩人一邊說著，一邊走至欄前看水。 |
