1  | 古有儒釋道三敎自明以來又多一敎曰小說小說演義之書未嘗自以為敎也而士大夫農工商賈無不習聞之以至兒童婦女不識字者亦皆聞而如見之是其敎較之儒釋道而更廣也釋道猶勸人以善小說專導人以惡姦邪淫盜之事儒釋道書所不忍斥言者彼必盡相窮形津津樂道以殺人為好漢以漁色為風流喪心病狂無所忌憚子弟之逸居無敎者多矣又有此等書以誘之曷怪其近於禽獸乎世人習而不察輒怪刑獄之日緐盜賊之日熾豈知小說之中於人心風俗者已非一朝一夕之故也有覺世牖民之責者亟宜焚而棄之勿使流播內自京邑外達直省嚴察坊市有刷印鬻售者科以違制之罪行之數十年必有弭盜省刑之效或訾吾言為迂遠闊事情是目𥈤之見也 |
