25  | 且說岳元帥一日正坐帳中，有探子來報：「啟上元帥，關外大路上有一枝兵馬，屯紮營寨，特來報知。」元帥道：「可是番兵麼？」探子道：「不是番兵，看來好像是綠林中人馬樣子。」元帥命湯懷、施全前去打探：「倘若是來歸降的，好生領他來相見。」二人答應，出營上馬開關。未到得十餘里，果見一枝人馬安下營頭。湯懷走馬向前，大喝一聲道：「㗣！你們是那里來的人馬？到此何幹？」早有小卒報入營中。祇見走出六員戰將，齊齊走來。到馬前道：「某等乃山東臥牛山中好漢岳真等，聞岳元帥禮賢重士，特來投順的。不知二位將軍尊姓大名？」湯懷、施全兩個聽了，連忙跳下馬來道：「小將湯懷，此位施全，奉元帥之命，特來探問將軍們的來意。既如此就請上馬，同去見了元帥定奪何如？」六人齊聲道：「相煩引見。」於是八個人俱各上馬進關。 |
