《清波雜志》：歳自元宵後，都人即辦上池，遨遊之盛，惟恐負于春色。當二月末，宜秋門下揭黃牓云：「三月一日，三省同奉聖㫖：開金明池，許士庶游行，御史臺不得彈奏。迨南渡，故老客臨安，泛西湖，懐舊都，作詩云云，燀向見人，每舉此詩，因志于此，以補夢華之遺。《東京夢華録》：三月一日，州西順天門外開金明池瓊林苑，每日教習車駕上池，儀範雖禁從士庶，許縱賞，御史臺有榜，不得彈劾。池在順天門街北，周圍約九里三十步，池西直徑七里許，入池門內南岸西去百餘步，有西北臨水殿，車駕臨幸，觀爭標，錫宴于此，往日旋以綵幄，政和間，用土朩工造成矣。又西去數百步，乃仙橋，南北約數百步，橋面三虹，朱漆欄楯，下排雁柱，中央隆起，謂之駱駞虹，若飛虹之狀。橋盡處五殿，正在池之中心，四岸石甃向背，大殿中坐，各設御幄，不禁游人殿，上下囘廊皆關撲錢物，飲食伎藝人作場，句肆羅列，左右遊人還往，荷蓋相望。橋之南立櫺星門門裏對立綵樓，每爭標作樂，列妓女于其上門相對。街南有甎石甃砌，高臺上有樓觀，廣百丈許，曰寶津樓樓，前至池門，闊百餘丈，下瞰仙橋水殿，車駕臨幸，觀騎射，百戲于此。
