9  | 本朝永樂三年，國王靄牙思丁遣使來朝。詔賜王苧絲、紗羅各四疋、絹八疋；王妃紵絲、紗羅各三疋、絹六疋。命使往天竺迎異僧。既至京兆，號大寶法王。居靈谷寺，頗著靈異，謂之神通。教人念唵嘛呢叭𡄣吽，於是信者晝夜念之。翰林侍讀李繼鼎曰：「若彼既有神通，當通中國語。何為待譯者而後知乎？且其所謂唵嘛呢叭𡄣吽云者，乃云俺把你哄也。人不之悟耳。」 |
