15  | 義興人王昌有竒力，治田不以牛，身犁而耕，妻駕之，昌一奮土去數尺，或抵塍塍為之動。嘗餽運昌肩舟之桅而担焉。前後堇十鍾達數百里，他舟人不知。昌乃或侮昌，昌曰：「若欲以衆攝我耶？雖百人胡能為」衆恚，集隣船得百許人，爭欲擊昌昌，持檣拂左右，左右及拂者，無弗溺者。昌山行見蠅蚋紛然，起叢薄間，眡之有巨蛇長數十尋，昌走不竟，蛇蛇將尾而寘之口，昌怒，捉蛇尾而振之，舉投空地，逮地死矣。途間遇搏虎者，持鎗㦸來昌弱，其具都折而置之，自㧞巨竹削其端，使廉甚水以和之，火以堅之，方俯僂治竹未就，虎突至後昌，不及運竹，便以兩手搘虎兩膊，又空執於一掌，抽腰間竹刺虎喉，信手一擲，踰其背後，樹杪斃焉。昌或久虛其力，輙手足撼掉，不自休速。犇山中擢林木數株運弄之，或提頑石行百匝兩，無為于室，則索綯如杵數十丈寸寸，搯斷之力稍解，云昌有女力，肖其父，陸有修艦，衆莫置之。水造昌廬，命昌昌病，命女女往辟人，獨盪舟手及舟，舟在水矣。昌行四人以行，連其名，呼曰昌四白石翁云：「聞之其鄉人」。 |
