《卷五十二志第十九》
26  | 一，卷埽。其制亦昉於竹楗石災，今則布薪芻以卷之，環竹縆以固之，絆木以系之，挂石以墜之，舉其一二以稱之，則日狻音混。𡘝既下，又填以薪芻，謂之盤簟。兩𡘝之交，或不相接，則包以網子索，塞以稈草，謂之孔塞盤簟。孔塞之費，有過於埽槊者。蓋隨水去者太半故也。其𡘝最下者，謂之撲崖草，又謂之入水埽。𡘝之最上者，謂之爭高埽。河勢向著，恐難固護，先於堤下掘坑卷埽以備之，謂之卷埽。疊二三四五而卷者，以沙壤疏惡，近水即潰，必借埽力以捍之也。下𡘝既朽，則水刷而去，上𡘝壓之，謂之實墊。又卷新埽以壓於上，俟定而後止。凡埽去水近者，謂之向著。去水遠者，謂之退背。水入埽下者，謂之緊刷。若暴水漲溢，下埽既去，上埽動搖，謂之埽喘。 |
