1  | 香山黃文裕公，嘗謂樂本於太極，函三為一。五聲協五行，即《河圖》也；八音合八卦，即《雒書》也。乃綜覈羣籍，以《周禮·大司樂》為主，證以《樂記》，暨朱子、蔡氏諸編，登歌下管，叅諸詩書，無一不合。羽水知崇，徵火禮卑。西漢以前，知音者類能道之。於是𡗓樂均，述樂義，詳載名物度數，而闡明其理。合《大司樂》、《樂記》、《詩樂》共三十六卷，名為《樂典》，多擴前哲之所未發者。張文襄謂《樂典》一書，簫韶可以復聞，而公嘗示門人以所製琴、瑟、鐘、磬、管、篴、笙、簫，皆分宮商以倡和。一日奏樂，有兩雉自天而下，和鳴飛去，蓋文明之瑞應云。吾粵先輩，多明於禮樂之原。公《樂典》而外，若湛甘泉有《補樂經》，梁東溪有《樂書》，各若干卷。《樂書》今散佚矣，《樂典》、《補樂經》猶存，聖君賢相欲興起古樂，其必有取於是夫。 |
