61  | 十六年春，連陷廣濟、蘄州、蘄水。入黃州，黃民盡逃，乃驅婦女鏟城，尋殺之以填塹。麻城人湯志者，大姓奴也，殺諸生六十人，以城降賊。獻中改麻城為州。又西陷漢陽，全軍從鴨蛋洲渡，陷武昌，執楚王華奎，籠而沈諸江，盡殺楚宗室。錄男子二十以下、十五以上為兵，餘皆殺之。由鸚鵡洲至道士洑，浮胔蔽江，踰月人脂厚累寸，魚鱉不可食。獻忠遂僭號，改武昌曰天授府，江夏曰上江縣。據楚王第，鑄西王之寶，偽設尚書、都督、巡撫等官，開科取士。以興國州柯、陳兩姓土官悍勇，招降之。題詩黃鶴樓。下令發楚邸金振饑民。蘄、黃等二十一州縣悉附。 |
