國朝張勇撰。勇字飛熊，上元人，積功官至靖逆將軍，提督甘肅軍務，封靖逆侯，加少傅兼太子太師。是集為其子雲翼所編。始於順治六年《謝實授甘肅總兵官疏》，終於康熙二十三年《甘州遺疏》，凡百二十篇。勇初任甘肅總兵官時，即內值肅州回民作亂，外值昂漢夷人窺邊，日事攻討。中間奉調南征，旋回甘肅，複值王輔臣之亂。往來征剿，日無寧晷。其沒也，猶以防禦麥力干之故，力疾出師，卒於軍營。計始終兵間四十餘年。王進寶、趙良棟等，皆由其偏裨起為名將。
