李克用之平王行瑜也，見上卷乾寧二年。李罕之求邠寧总部设邠州於克用。克用曰：「行瑜恃功邀君，故吾與公討而誅之。昨破賊之日，吾首奏趣蘇文建赴鎮。事見同上。趣，讀曰促。今纔達天聽，遽復二三，復，扶又翻；下同。朝野之論，必喧然謂吾輩復如行瑜所為也。吾與公情如同體，固無所愛，俟還鎮，當更為公論功賞耳。」為，于偽翻；下同。罕之不悅而退，私於蓋寓曰：「罕之自河陽失守，依託大庇，蓋，古盍翻。李罕之失河陽見二百五十七卷僖宗文德元年。歲月已深。比來衰老，比，毗至翻，近也。倦於軍旅，若蒙吾王與太傅哀愍，王，謂李克用，太傅，謂蓋寓。賜一小鎮，使數年之間休兵養疾，然後歸老閭閻，幸矣。」寓為之言，克用不應。每藩鎮缺，議不及罕之，罕之甚鬱鬱。寓恐其有他志，亟為之言，亟，去吏翻，頻也，數也。克用曰：「吾於罕之豈愛一鎮，但罕之，鷹也，飢則為用，飽則背飛！」祖曹操駕御呂布之意而言之。背，蒲妹翻。
