陳敬瑄牓邛州，凡阡能等親黨皆不問。未幾，幾，居豈翻。邛州刺史申捕獲阡能叔父行全家三十五人繫獄，請準法。準法，謂反逆親屬當從坐誅。敬瑄以問孔目官唐溪，對曰：「公已有牓，令勿問，而刺史復捕之，復，扶又翻。此必有故。今若殺之，豈惟使明公失大信，竊恐阡能之黨紛紛復起矣！」敬瑄從之，遣押牙牛暈往，集眾於州門，破械而釋之，因詢其所以然，果行全有良田，刺史欲買之，不與，故恨之。敬瑄召刺史，將按其罪，刺史以憂死。他日，行全聞其家由溪以免，密餉溪蝕箔金百兩。博聞錄：有蝕箔金法。金及分數者打成大薄片，以黃礬一兩、雞屎礬一兩、膽礬半兩、碙砂一分、信土一兩、赤土一兩袞研，以鹽膽水調，金片上炙乾，更搽更炙；如此三度已來，用牛糞灰一重，重鬲下大火煅一日取出，溫湯洗淨。其存者金也，其蝕出者銀也。溪怒曰：「此乃太師仁明，陳敬瑄檢校太師，故稱之。何預吾事，汝乃懷禍相餉乎！」還其金，斥逐使去。史言唐溪有古君子之風。
