夏四月丁未，泉州張漢思為四門指揮使陳洪進所幽，洪進歸命於王，請命於朝，遂授洪進平海軍節度使、檢校太傅。秋九月丁巳，重建天寵堂。壬申，大閱艛艫於西湖，賜內外將校服帶有差。冬十月甲申，獲巨魚於江壖，長九丈六尺。十一月甲子，太祖有事南郊，大赦，改元乾德。王命侄昱入貢，敕遣引進使丁德裕來宣諭，仍加王食邑一千戶，實封四百戶，改賜承家保國宣德守道忠貞恭順功臣，又加建武軍節度使王世子惟浚檢校太尉。十二月，孝明皇后崩，敕遣使來宣告。是月，命侄郁為秀州刺史。

甲子乾德二年春正月戊寅朔，大雨震電。二月戊申朔，日有蝕之。三月，制王落起復天下兵馬都元帥，加食邑一千戶，實封四百戶。四月，重建城南寶塔寺成，鑄武肅王、文穆王、忠獻王銅容供於寺。秋八月庚申，王駕複天寵堂，謂丞相以下曰：「頃以寡德，遂貽災釁，曾未十年，中外如斯，實宗廟之休，公等之力。然作之者勞，吾不敢忘，更賴公等以輔不逮。」丞相以下咸稱大慶。冬十一月，王師伐蜀，王乃命親從都指揮使行軍司馬孫承祐等率師會焉。
